do i have to file a "information on suit affecting the family relationship form" if I am filing my own uncontested divorce with no children in the state of texas?
there are a lot of pages you have to fill out..if you are missing even one paper or they are not in order…it will be thrown out. The judge does not accept just generic forms. Alot of forms do not pretain to a texas divorce.Alot of people out there selling alot forms for every state…look for forms state specific.
Most judges hate forms just handwritten. All he wants to see handwritten is your signature and your husband’s signature in the PROPER places.
Before you turn them in ask the clerk if you have all the necessary papers. You’ve got to get them past her/him,before they are sent to the judge.
I would include the information form.

You can file it without the form (I think) You will be given a court date and a subpoena for your spouse to appear before a judge. You and your spouse will appear before the judge and if he needs that information in order to grant the divorce he will let you know, other wise he will usually grant it on the spot. then you will have a six month period after your divorce in granted before you can re-marry.
