Anyone knows how a divorce process works & forms needed in the province of Manitoba?
if both of us agreed to have an "uncontested divorce" which means no payment of alimony, no division of property, and no custody of children involved, is it going to be an easy divorce for me?
Call your local court to find out what forms you need to file.

do i have to file a "information on suit affecting the family relationship form" if I am filing my own uncontested divorce with no children in the state of texas?
there are a lot of pages you have to fill out..if you are missing even one paper or they are not in order…it will be thrown out. The judge does not accept just generic forms. Alot of forms do not pretain to a texas divorce.Alot of people out there selling alot forms for every state…look for forms state specific.
Most judges hate forms just handwritten. All he wants to see handwritten is your signature and your husband’s signature in the PROPER places.
Before you turn them in ask the clerk if you have all the necessary papers. You’ve got to get them past her/him,before they are sent to the judge.
I would include the information form.

In Kansas. Is it necessary to complete the financial breakdown for divorce papers if the divorce is uncontested with no request for child support or alimony?
Yes. Complete financial statement are requird in almost every divorce, even if alimony and child support are not in the picture.
But is child support not NEEDED or is it not REQUESTED? NOT REQUESTED means that there is a child involved. In that case the court will usually ignore any request for waiver of child support, and the court will order child support anyway. I’ve never seen a case where child support was not awarded. REDUCED, yes, but eliminated, no.
Alimony is not available in many states, but in the states where it is acceptable, the court always has the option to rule that alimony is required even if not requested.
So financial paper ARE necessary.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between a contested and uncontested marriage?
exactly….an uncontested divorce is cheaper and faster because the two of you already agree to everything; contested is more expensive and can be dragged out for a long long time because the two of you can’t agree to the terms
Hi all,
Could anybody give me the pointers about where to find the forms and procedures for "uncontested" or "peaceful" divorce in California?
If you happen to know the forms and procedures for NYC, please also kindly give us the pointers.
We are weighing between filing divorce in NYC or in California. Which place is easier and less costly?
We don’t have properties or kids as we are freshly out of college. I guess we don’t need an attorney.
Thanks!
— As I said, We don’t have any properties, or kids. We have nothing to split! We have been in separation for 2 years. I guess we just need the forms and procedures. Please give the pointers! Thank you!
In California you can go to a paralegal and they can do all the paperwork for you, depending on how much property you have and if there are children involved, it is usually pretty cheap.
I beg to differ with the responder above, I got my divorce in California and we were allowed to divy everything up as we had decided ourselves.
